Wolf is an Irish/Polish psychological drama about a boy who suffers from species dysphoria. Jacob believes he is a wolf and is committed to a mental asylum after a violent episode with his brother.
At the asylum, he meets other patients with similar conditions who believe they are different kinds of animals. He befriends a beautiful girl called Wildcat, with whom Jacob explores the asylum at night.
The head of the facility is a vicious person dubbed Zookeeper who uses inhumane ways of treatment on the patients, which leads Jacob to revolt and attack an employee. The inhumane treatment that the patients receive at the hands of Zookeeper is exposed, leading to Jacob and the other patients finally being set free.
